I am currently a senior in Saint Peter's University majoring in Elementary Education and American Studies. I believe that as a new teacher it might be difficult at first to know and understand how to grasp students attention. Elementary students tend to lose focus fast so as a future teacher my goal is to try to make my lessons interesting and if possible hands on specially during science. I believe that science is a very cool and interesting subject that teachers should try to make it fun so when it is time for science class students will be excited to learn about it instead of hating it.
