Hello!
My name is Haley Jacobsen and I am a preservice teacher at Wartburg College. I will complete my student teaching this winter. I wanted to come on here and ask what kinds of formative assessments you often use with your elementary students. Are you always assessing? Do you use rubrics, checklists, entry and exit tickets, ask students to draw, or do student interviews/self-assessments? How do you prefer to track your students' growth on these assessments? Do you complete pre and post-assessments? I am hoping to learn what forms of assessment you have found do or do not work well in your classrooms!
