Electric vs Magnetic Forces

Aloha! Our science department will be implementing the integrated science for grades 6-8 this school year. Currently, we are struggling with the concepts of electric and magnetic fields and was hoping that someone would be able to provide us with resources (links, readings, videos) on the difference as well as how they relate to each other.   The resources that we have found are information that is over our head and we are looking at ways to make this more approachable for middle school students.   The NGSS standards are below and hope that someone would be able to help us with the basics in understanding these concepts at a beginner level?

MS-PS2-5 Conduct an investigation and evaluate the experimental design to provide evidence that fields exist between objects exerting forces on each other even though the objects are not in contact.

MS-PS2-3 Ask questions about data to determine the factors that affect the strength of electric and magnetic forces.

Any help, tips or advice would be appreciated!  This is an area that we will continue to research as we prepare our unit to teach our students this.
