What are some small ways that you have infused or integrated non-STEM disciplines into your science courses? Do you assess these other disciplines or are they more complimentary to the science content?
My colleagues and I have worked together to integrate non-STEM disciplines such as literacy and social studies. The assignment involves using science as the main part of the lesson and using reading and/or writing strategies in support. The social studies part would include the history of the science concept being studied along with the societal impacts.
