Hello everyone!
My name is Cassidy Harrington and I am a fourth year preservice teacher that attends Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. I am majoring in Elementary Education with endorsements in reading, early childhood, and special education. I am finishing out my fall semester here in Iowa, and starting in January, will be student teaching for a semester. I will be student teaching in Honolulu, HI (preschool) and New Hampton, IA (special education). I want to effectively teach all students that I have next semester, so I wanted to post a forum asking for any pointers or amazing resources that anyone has found that may help me.
I am dually excited and nervous going into a classroom next semester, having to incorprate all of my learnings to help these students. Please, if anyone has any books, lessons, resources, or even management tips, I would appreciate it so much! Thank you in advance.
