I'm organizing the ultimate field trip for formal and informal educators! Picture yourself on a 9-day trip to Iceland with colleagues interested in experiencing the dynamic interactions among the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere. Join us to experience phenomena-based science teaching, July 11-19, 2018. Led by a NOAA Climate Stewards Educator (and NSTA member) and a geology professor, this trip is aligned with NGSS, and will be addressing multiple disciplinary core ideas, crosscutting standards, and science and engineering practices.
