After reading Science and Children, I found a good amount of ideas interesting but one stood out the most to me. The topic I found interesting were the safety precautions. Ashbrook gave ideas of how to teach students safety and testing their knowledge to get students to remember the important part of learning science.

It is definitely necessary to teach children the importance of maintaining a safe environment. They should get into the routine of being smart with equipment to become accustomed to the rules.

Peggy also has some good books out; look for them online.  Science Learning in the Early Years by NSTA Press is great!
