I am currently a college student in a teacher preparation program. I have been taking Intro to STEM and I have become fascinated with the world of STEM that I never dreamed I would be. I was one of those students who made up her mind early about my notions of science and math, especially. However, I am beginning to see the incredible demand on teachers to be multi-tasking and highly creative with their lesson plans. I am wondering, are there ways to incorporate STEM into subjects like Social Studies, Economics, and English? If so, how do you incorporate them without overwhelming students or getting side-tracked?
