I am a student teacher in hopes of teaching second grade. I wonder what are some resources about implementing cross-cutting strategies into my future science lessons. What are some examples of adding ELA and or mathematics into 2nd grade science lessons? I also was wondering if you can add cross-cutting strategies into any lesson. Is it necessary to add cross-cutting lessons into every lesson or is this distracting or leaving the focus of the science lesson?
