Hello,
The topic I would like to address today is how to deal with distractions in the classroom due to having pets. I do not have a lot of experience in dealing with pets in the classroom, however, I think it is a good thing to include as you can use the pets in a variety of different ways to enhance learning in your classroom. The biggest take away that I have on pets in the classroom is setting rules and expectations right away dealing with the animal in your class. I am still looking for different strategies to use when distractions become an issue. Any suggestions would be helpful!
