Samantha, I would ask the teaching what content must be covered and what they would want you to teach. Sometimes they will be specific and sometimes they will say something very broad and general. If you are observing throughout the semester you may be able to narrow your search. I would go to: http://ngss.nsta.org/Classroom-Resources.aspx
to make sure the lesson aligns with NGSS. There are so many resources there, complete with lesson plans, materials list, and hand outs in some cases.
