Hi, everyone. I'm currently a junior in college, and I am concerned for my future classroom because there are so many people in this world that spread notions that fall under what is regarded as 'pseudoscience'. These people are parents of students who will one day be in my classroom, and I think it'll be interesting, to say the least, to try and teach my students scientific content that contradicts what they may have heard at home or on social media. Topics such as climate change, flat-earthers, anti-vaccine groups, etc. are talked about and argued about on many different platforms. Is acknowledging certain ideas that have a lot of political and social controversies advised in the classroom?
