My reflection on the Build a Better Book article. A group of 3 college students worked to create renditions of several classic board games for students who were blind or had low-vision. This is an amazing idea which is super intriguing to me because I am a lover of games and design. Later on they mention that they originally wannted to develop this program for public libraries. There is a similar program at the Xenia public library called Spark Place which I have used extensively.

This program places a large emphasis on designing materials for others which is a great way to help kids step outside of themselves. This program also focuses heavily on inclusive design.

I love the fact this project shows student growth in the design process over time. Students work to improve their games based on findings in their research.
