My Astronomy class is doing a week long study of Mars, and there is some exciting new research available to us now, thanks to the curiosity rover and the work of many scientists. In case anyone is interested in checking some of it out, I thought I'd share a few articles and resources. Curiosity rover drilling: http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/video/2013/feb/22/curiosity-rover-drilling-mars-video http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/videos/index.cfm?v=32 Mars airplane simulation: http://wingsovermars.arc.nasa.gov/simulation.html New microbes found in Antarctica, could be linked to possibility of life on Mars: http://news.msn.com/science-technology/russian-scientists-may-have-found-new-life-under-antarctic-ice I hope this helps if anyone is studying Mars in class!

Nora, Thanks for sharing the information about Mars. The bacteria was particularly interesting. I tried the airplane link, but it did not work. Could you please check that and repost? I am very interested in checking that out also. Betty
