Hello! I'm working with K12 teachers who are new to the NGSS and looking for general strategies to help. For example, I've been having them use phenomena, Driving Question Boards (DQBs), and practice moderating Position-Driven Discussions while helping students create and use models, argue using evidence, and generate explanations. Our curriculum is well set up for helping students plan and carry out investigations and the teachers are comfortable using math and computational thinking with the kids, but they are less comfortable with analyzing and interpreting data, designing solutions, and obtaining/evaluating information. Also, they struggle knowing how to help students see the bigger picture of the CCCs. Do you have any general strategies (able to be used in many situations) that could help? Many thanks in advance!
