Beluga Whales: Hyphothesis Generation and Evaluation
Mon, Sep 10, 2018 12:55 PM
What is a hypothesis?
The major problem with this article is that the author misuses the concept of "hypothesis". If a hypothesis is defined as a tentative, testable EXPLANATION for observed phenomena, then it does not deal with "what questions", rather with "why questions". The author is asking students to predict the results of an action, not to explain those results. Please, let's get it right.
