I have been involved with Science education for most of my life. I grew up in the "space race" of the 1960's and became passionate about science. I have an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology. I have a Master's Degree in Chemistry Education and have taken many post graduate courses. I taught high school chemistry for forty years. I have also taught Physics, Physical Science, Life Science, Earth Science and specialized courses like International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement Chemistry (AP). I have taught elementary level students all the way up through college. This is my third year of teaching STEM Methods for Elementary Education majors as an adjunct professor for Winona State University. I am so grateful to be preparing the "next generation of science teachers." I live in Rochester, Minnesota but am originally from the Detroit, Michigan area.
