Collection Review!
Hi Brenda!
I believe that as future educator, it is very important to have content knowledge of the subject that we are teaching our students. If we are not well informed of the material that we are teaching it can cause students to create misconceptions.
I found your collection about “Misconceptions of Sun, Earth, and Moon” interesting because a lot of people tend to create misconceptions about the sun, earth, and moon. The articles and sci-pack you included in your collection can assist by clarifying any misunderstandings we may still encounter or by having the readers recognize what are some misconceptions that students have. The article titled “Which is Bigger” has a great way of starting a lesson; it helps a teacher know what misconceptions she needs to clarify to the students regarding the sizes of the objects in space. I also believe that the sci-pack was a great resource to add to your collection because it helps us expand our knowledge about the Sun, Earth, and Moon beginning from the basic to the most complex concept. All the articles in your collection are great resources that you can refer to when teaching your student about the Sun, Earth, and Moon.
Personally, I enjoy learning about the Sun, Earth, and Moon.
