Animal Science Collection Review

This collection contains various journal articles and a book chapter that aids elementary students in investigating the world of animals. Not only will teachers have access to hands-on inquiry based activities, but students will have access to a variety of information. Through these resources students will get to learn about the importance of camouflage for the survival of some animals, how animals underwater breathe and live, and how an animal’s body and behavior allow it to survive. In addition to the many aspects of animal science the students will learn about, I like how the collection includes various types of resources and is diverse in the elementary levels it is geared towards. Teachers can follow along with ease and even share some of these resources with students so they can have a better understanding of animals and how they live.
