I am a creative science content specialist with seventeen years of assessment development experience and over twelve years of college teaching experience. I graduated in May 2013 from the "Technology, Innovation, and Education" master's degree program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. My graduate study focused on educational design, cognitive science (including teaching for understanding), innovative technologies for teaching and learning, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In January 2017, I started my own company - Innovative Science Content Design. I now work as an independent consultant to design science curriculum and assessment projects in both informal and formal learning environments. From 2013 through 2018, I collaborated with other science educators to evaluate and peer-review NGSS-aligned curriculum resources for the National Science Teachers Association's NGSS Hub.
