This is so creative.

I really enjoyed this forum post/article. I believe that it captures the truth behind students and educators who may truly not understand science for what it is. Basically, this is explaining that it is ok. Through critical thinking and inquiry, there is much more to science that meets the eye. These 9 core ideas are determined to assist with the representation of objectives that will aid in classroom instruction. Although many believe that science basis off of factual concepts, there is much more to it. We are able to explore, question, and engage, before comprehension. This article gave us so much explanation on that.

Hi Amy, I really enjoyed this article. I believe that it is important that we challenge our students through a productive struggle, but also understand that we are there to teach and not confuse. The moment that students feel overwhelmed or unsure about the material being presented, these conflicts may cause an interference with the learning mechanism. A broad subject such as matter may be a bit complicated to teach to young students, as there is lots of information that may be subject to confusion. I love how this article encourages the tapping of children prior knowledge, as this mechanism builds on what the students already know and understand. Instead of confusion, the students will now show curiosity and inquired knowledge.

Hi Amy. I believe that your collection is thorough and complete with information. You make sure that you touch base on the different formulations of the subject. Through inquiry, students are able to learn one their own, while answering their own questions. I love the way that much of your collection includes this form of inquiry. Since your topic of motion, matter, and energy, may be so broad, I really enjoyed how you incorporated different lessons that all go based off of the same idea. You made sure to add your own personal touch through your teaching, which I am very fond of. This collection is something that many educators can use when speaking about a lesson as such. You added so many neat articles and journals. Great job!
