Two-Dimensional Motion
Wed, Jan 24, 2018 12:02 AM
A brief review
The introduction and chapter describe phenomena based learning in comparison to project and problem based learning models, elaborating on key components such as "peer instruction." The chapter itself examines two dimensional motion. There is a general outline given for the various activities, but in all students are given an item, told how to use it, and asked to consider a few thoughts to spur dialogue among the students. The methodology encourages the student's own innate sense of curiosity to motivate them in understanding key conceptual objectives and skill building. In this way students may gain a more in depth understanding of the concepts that they are exploring.
