What types of summative assessments have you been using to assess your student's knowledge in that content area (science)? In today's science curriculum, we are learning that worksheets aren't the best criteria to assess our students knowledge, so I think it would be cool to hear other teacher's ideas of other ways we can assess our students.

I am a big fan of doing learning centers because it accommodates all learners and it allows students to be successful in their learning style that they like best. Whenever I have students engaging in an experiment or activity, I usually make sure they have nothing in their hands so they don't get distracted when we are having discussions or during instruction time.
