In many of the field schools I have been to, the teachers tell me that they get to science if they can. Science is not as important to them as other subjects or they just do not have the time to teach it. I do not want this to happen to me when I am a teacher and was wondering how more experienced teachers have dealt with this.

I was wondering if there were any unique, fun, and hands on lesson ideas and activities for teaching different species relationships to third graders. When talking to them about the topic, they have the idea that every relationship is negative like predator-prey relationships. I want to teach this lesson but would want to teach it in a fun way for the students to learn and enjoy.

Review
This collection is great because it provides multiple resources that focus on interdependence of life and different species and their relationships. I really liked the article about coral reef ecosystems. These articles focus on the same topic but teach very different ecosystems. I like that it shows this in different kinds of ecosystems because it shows the relationships.
