I really like this idea, especially for primary grades. At the end of the year we do a fractured fairy tale unit and I can definitely see how incorporating STEM could definitely bring a new twist to the unit. Hi everyone,
Thank you for your help. We have students bring spiral notebooks that we use as their journal. I like the idea of tabbing it off. For first graders, would you buy tabs and write the topic for them or have them do it. I'm trying to let go of some of the control but not too much.

I would search for Brain Breaks. We started implementing them in our district this year and they have really been great especially with inside recess. They give you different activities that students can do to relax and refocus on what they are doing. I would just google or pinterest search for Brian Breaks.
