5th grade Earth Collection

Teaching about Earth

I went through a few of the articles in this collection. I think that this collection is put together well. I was excited to read about the misconceptions that students may have regarding the sun heating the Earth. What's funny is that I had the same misconception. I learned something by reading this collection. These items give a clear view of teaching elementary students about Earth. This is the only home we have and have to take care of it.

Life Science Review

I really enjoyed reviewing this collection. This collection is great for elementary and middle school aged students. Some of the articles would assist me in teaching the students creatively and also how to bring out the creativity in the students. This collection provides ideas and subjects that is not normally in the first thought when the subject comes up. One of the articles also include the use of today's technology the internet to intrigue the students. These article coincide well and keeps the reader wanting more. Very good job.
