Science Notebooks for Learning
This article encourages students to use notebooks in science. This helps students to write while learning science. These practices however need to be done correctly to maximize student's learning. It was found that students who just use their notebook to record data were not referring to their notebooks like a scientist would. I really liked how the article laid out how to properly use notebooks during science that gave student positive learning experiences. The article showed how other teachers had their students use notebooks to engage in discovery and discussion. This article made notebooks in science very desirable for students and teachers!
