We just had a field trip to the pumpkin patch in Hawaii. The students got to pick their own pumpkins. As a activity for life cycles, talked about the life cycle of a pumpkin and completed a worksheet. We then planted seeds from a pumpkin. Each student got their own container, dirt, and 3 seeds. They are waiting patiently for the seeds to sprout.

Review of Nutrition Sciguide K-4
I enjoyed reading this sciguide. It has a lot of useful information as an educator (e.g., possible lesson plans, links to other websites about nutrition). It also helped me create lesson plans and I found links to use to meet student IEP goals.
