Craftsman/NSTA Young Inventors Awards Program—Students of Invention

Students of Invention
This article is one that I find to be quite beneficial in the classroom and to the realm of science. I absolutely loved the use of Thomas Edison's quote of “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.” The best inventions may sometimes be those that use everyday items to fix common solutions. Within the source, the students that invented these products have witnessed the need for their creations. It is absolutely amazing to see the ideas that children can have and the positive impacts these ideas can have on a community when they are supported.
