Hello, I am a PhD student investigating the evolution of science experiments from procedural-based to argument-driven and inquiry-based. I am aware that NSTA's lab manual from 2015 is wholly argument-driven. However, are there lab manuals pre-2015 that are more procedural-based for comparison? If so, where would I be able to find them?

If you are part of a public school with limited resources (and many students that leave you with limited time), how do you create engaging science labs? Are the online examples/virtual simulations sufficient enough to teach? Or do you have to skip out on valuable labs because the resources are not available?
