I'm an Education student at Florida International University. I love children and Dogs! I have a degree in Chemistry from Barry University. My dream is to teach and inspire children to love science as much as I do. I am a firm believer that if you love your job you don't work a day in your life! I am not a teacher yet but I have had the opportunity to teach math and science to middle schoolers and all I can say is that I loved it! I am looking forward to learning more for me to become not only a teacher but an inspirational educator!

Garden? Yes! The school I did my field hours at had just started building one, and it's becoming the new science project for middle school and elementary! I totally agree! children need to explore some more! The school I did my hours this semester did not have many natural areas outside but they are building a garden which gave me lots of new ideas to engage children in science activities related to the garden! I believe that having some time outside of the classroom will spark their interest; especially in science!

I liked the fact that you based your collection on your FA! its a great idea especially because it narrows down all the articles in the library to your specific FA subject and concept. I will do rearrange my collection now thanks to your idea. AWESOME!

Ecosystems Collection

Good Collection!

I decided to do my FA concept on animal habitats and this collection was very helpful! the articles included are excatly what I needed to complete my lesson plan. It even includes a sci pack which is very helpful to complete in order to learn more about the subject before teaching it to the children. Great Job!

I wish I saw this collection before I did my FA!

This collection is the complement of the SciPack. It was difficult for me to review all the articles that appeared when I researched "interdependence of life."This collection has everything I needed to reinforce the concept I needed to teach the students for my Field Assignment! Thank you!
