Mangroves are incredibly valuable to both the ecosystem as well as the
geography and topography of an island or cost. First and foremost,
mangroves act like a break wall/retaining wall for the cost it lives upon.
Its intertwining roots which actually descend from the branches of the
plant into the water or sandy soil helps keep the coast from eroding due to
