Blow-by-Blow Inquiry: Students use their minds and lungs in this engaging inquiry activity
Wed, Mar 05, 2014 6:32 PM
Great Idea!
As a pre-service teacher I found this to be a great read for thinking about how to incorporate inquiry into your classroom. In this article it talked about what students should know and be able to do. Since there are multiple requirements in each section, it is hard to find an effective way to reach all of these standards. This article talks about using inquiry in your classroom and also involving other classrooms and students in the learning and inquiry process.
Obviously this would require a great working relationship with another teacher who has the same ideas for inquiry and learning as you do. With this activity/lesson you are using each other to learn since you are comparing the capabilities of one student compared to another student of a different age.
