Hello, I am planning a lesson for inherited traits and heredity. Looks for good websites, resources, videos, or games for the lesson. The lesson is for 3rd grade. Thanks!

An Introduction to Heredity
I felt, after reading this article, it was very helpful when planning my lesson about inheritance and heredity. After reading the article it connects the classroom activities to the Next Generation Science Standards. The article gives activities that allow the students to compare their own characteristics with other students and which are dominant or recessive. There is also a figure that shows traits to students with pictures that can help them understand what some traits they might have are. The article goes into detail about inherited traits, traits the students got from their parents. This article overall was very helpful in planning my lesson as well as giving me ideas for future lessons.
