I have been teaching high school science since 2005. I have taught Biology, Chemistry, Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, Astronomy and Geology...I love them all but chemistry will always be my favorite!
My first 8 years teaching were spent in a well-to-do, suburban high school. At some point during the later years I realized that I thrived when working with students from the school's alternative education program. So I added an alt. ed license to my collection, sought out a "dream job", got it and am now enjoying the challenges and unique experiences an alternative high school has to offer!
