Great resource
The topic of recycling is always very popular in schools. Which is great if that is what you wish to teach because you'll find a great amount of resource. The author of this collection has done a nice job of putting together useful resources into one collection. This entire collection could be used to create a unit on recycling. It includes a science object discussing the history of Earth. I think that said science object is a nice introduction to the topic, students can gain background knowledge. The second science object moves deeper into our impact on Earth, which can lead straight into the topic of recycling. You'll find articles in this collection that can be used to explain how recycling works and why it's beneficial. You'll also find an article targeted at teachers informing them how to stay on budget by reusing classroom materials. Lastly, there are articles that give ideas on how to recycle in class. For example, art projects with recycling and reusing materials to teach various concepts (broken pieces of crayons to teach rock formation). Overall, I would rate this an effective collection because all it's resources are useful and center on the main topic; recycling.
