I took a course that had to do with assessments. For the course, we watched a video of a teacher allowing them time to share back their successes, problems they ran into, new things they discovered, if they had an area they wanted to go back and spend more time on.

I was talking to one of the parents who's child brought home the owl pellet. The child was so determined to keep the owl pellet so she would be able to study it under a microscope. Almost half of the school year is over. The one thing that I would like the students to walk away with is a love for Science and the desire to keep on learning more.

Many of the students could not wait to utilize the material to create a circuit were electricity flowed to create light.
