The Bottle Flipping inquiry investigation incorporates a wide range of skills and is flexible. It would be a terrific way to start the school year, getting students to start asking questions, test and explore right away. It would also be a great summative following Force and Motion learning to apply their learning to design a solution to a problem. During Distance Learning, this could be adapted easily, as students could collaborate on-line and test at home (very little supplies needed).
