This article includes two simple lesson plans that are easy to follow if someone were interested in using this in their own classroom. The lesson plan on "The Dynamics Within Ecosystems" is ideal for larger sized classes as it splits students into various groups. I love hands-on activities and allowing students to take ownership of their learning, so with the idea of letting each group be responsible for their own plant and data recording is very empowering to elementary children. The lesson plan also includes a list of what to look for while monitoring students and specific questions to ask.
