I really enjoyed this article and will definitely be using this in my instruction this year. The idea of using a books to engage in problem solving and then take the step further into actually designing a solution sounds fun and engaging for my students. I think sometimes we make science and engineering instruction irrelative to our students and thereby students decide that science and engineering are boring. I really like the idea of incorporting the skills of reading and writing into science and engineering. Great resource that I can't wait to use!
