This activity is about observing that some animals can be camouflaged on different surfaces. Discuss with the children what protective coloring means and explain that many animals need to hide to protect themselves. Introduce the word camouflage and let children test animals on two different surfaces. A materials list, internet resources, standards, and safety practices are provided.
