Archive: Transforming Science Learning: Science is Social! Transform Your Classroom into a Learning Community, April 22, 2020 (12:00 pm ET)

For students to be able to make sense of the world, our classrooms must be transformed into learning communities where students are working together to share ideas, build understanding and reach consensus. We’ll share strategies for creating and supporting classroom norms that make classrooms (whatever the classroom looks like today) a space where students excitedly speak, listen and constructively critique other’s ideas to figure out phenomena.

Note: This web seminar was also be presented live on the same day (April 22) at 7:00 pm ET for those unable to watch it live at 12:00 pm ET.
