Join us on Thursday, July 9, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET, for a first look at four new professional learning offerings designed to support science and STEM educators.

NSTA’s newest offerings include:

  • Sensemaking and Place-Based Data, a workshop developed in partnership with Tuva
  • All Voices, All Ideas: Engaging Multilingual Learners in Science Sensemaking, a workshop developed in partnership with BSCS
  • Sensemaking in the Age of AI: Empowering Critical Thinkers in Science Classrooms, a workshop developed in partnership with STAC
  • Making Sense of Meaningful STEM

Participants will learn how NSTA’s newest professional learning experiences are designed to meet a range of needs, from deepening understanding of high-quality science teaching and learning to supporting implementation and sustained shifts in instructional practice. The session will provide an overview of each program and help participants identify which opportunities align best to their goals.

Participants will:

  • Learn about the new professional learning offerings from NSTA
  • Explore the focus, audience and structure of each offering
  • Consider how the offerings can support teachers and district goals
  • Identify next steps for bringing these opportunities to a school or district

Who Should Attend:

  • Science/STEM Coordinators and department chairs
  • School and District Leaders and Administrators
  • Anyone interested in bringing NSTA Professional Learning to their school, district, or organizations

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
