This article presents activities on measurement of length and time that forces students to address the inaccuracies that can occur in scientific measurements. I like the activities presented and the questions that precede and follow the activities. The activities would be easy to set up and run, and the entire lab should not take more than one or two class periods. Overall, these are great activities to help students understand scientific error in measurement.
