I heard about the seed bank in Norway several years ago. As one interested in heirloom seeds, this tweaked my interest immediately. Many of us have been doing similar collections in our own yards for years in order to retain some of the old, non-hybrid varieties that have stood the test of time. I also appreciated the comments about moving beyond mere seed collection to restoration initiatives. Great idea, with some solid curriculum links.
