In a relatively easily understood matrix, levels and options for designing experiments based in inquiry is presented. Not all our students are ready for full inquiry, even at the upper levels. This matrix provides an opportunity to let students take on various aspects of experimental design, including selection of the question, variable identification, procedure design, and analysis. Does not provide lessons, but simply a structure for developing inquiry skills.
