My resource collection, titled Students and the Environment, is intended to help both teachers and students with the topic of involvement in the environment. It is my belief that learning about the environment is just as important as learning about cells, physics, or space. We must learn about our Earth and how to protect it in order to keep it healthy and to keep living in it. Half of the journal articles are to help teachers with the topic of environmental science. Some of the articles included are specific lesson plans for differentiated instruction in environmental science, which is always helpful to a teacher. Another article specializes in helping students learn about Florida’s environment. I found this article relevant to any teachers in the Florida state, like me. A few of the articles also specialize in teaching about the environment through different formats of writing, like poetry or journal writing.
