March is Women's history month. I would like to hear about activities highlighting the role of women in science. Here are some ideas from GFI http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs008/1102261797598/archive/1104693895839.html
This is an excellent idea to highlight some amazing women in science. We often equate scientists with men, so what a great idea. http://sciencenetlinks.com/lessons/women-in-medicine-past-and-future/ Has some women in medicine lesson ideas.
This web site would be beneficial in students learning about women in the field of science. http://www.sdsc.edu/ScienceWomen/ It would be eye-opening for students to learn about the roadblocks some of these women had to overcome simply because of their gender.
