We know that all students learn differently and that is because some prefer reading others rather to actually practice science experients. What do you prefer or think is the best option for students to learn science?

Two things:

(1) You wrote, 'We know that all students learn differently....'

If you're referring to different 'learning styles,' the research does not support that.  The idea of learning styles has been debunked and reported on repeatedly over the years. Take a look at some of these articles:

My question for you is: Where did you hear about 'learning styles'? Do they teach about them at your university?

(2) You ask, 'What do you prefer or think is the best option for students to learn science?'

The best option for students is exploration and discovery.  This could be an experiment, but it could be any phenomenon, or even a toy that they can explore and become curious about why it works the way it does. Also, allow time for students to discuss the phenomenon with one another and learn from each other.
