This column discusses resources and science topics related to students in grades preK to 2. This month’s issue discusses children observing and documenting the growth of a plant from a seed to seed-production and animal interactions with the plant.

I also bealive that it is super important to have students experience an ecosystem up close and personal. Alowing the students to see first hand what they are learning is something that I think should be incorperated more in the classroom. I also really enjoyed the bit about how the students can eat the plant seeds (kids love to eat stuff) its a fun way to teach them the full cirlce of life while also keeping them intrested.
